About the Introduction Day

An NVQ, being work-based, is an ideal route to show that you can deliver real work within a real work environment. It requires you to produce a portfolio of evidence of activities that you have undertaken within your working environment. This evidence is to be referenced against the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for the chosen subject. The NOS is made up of essential, core and optional units. Each NVQ specifies the minimum number of units to be completed for the award to be achieved.

Ideal For

Professionals who have been working within the relevant job role for a minimum of 12 months. (See NVQ's on Offer for further details on individual NVQ requirements.)

Course Aims

Individuals can achieve a nationally recognised qualification which confirms their competence and professional skills within a ‘real work’ environment.
