The DipNDEA4 has been created to develop and qualify individuals to produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for a existing and new commercial buildings.
Candidates are required to attend Training Days including an Introductory Day which is followed by the training sessions listed below:
To provide training to enable individuals to prepare for and qualify to produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for existing and new commercial buildings which incorporate complex heating and cooling systems and carbon technologies.
Candidates with a minimum of three years experience of commercial construction including the inspection of complex existing and new commercial buildings. Experienced Domestic Energy Assessors (DEAs) who can demonstrate extensive commercial knowledge and experience and who are members of an appropriate Professional Body.
Produce Portfolio of 3 Reports for DipNDEA4
In order to achieve the DipNDEA4 candidates are required to meet the requirements of the National Occupational Standards (NOS) by producing a portfolio which contains a minimum of 3 Energy Performance Certificates on buildings, with at least 1 on a new build and 2 from more complex existing buildings, which must be supported by photographs, site notes, plans and any other additional supporting information for the types and range of the buildings required.
Candidates will be required to sit and pass and external examination.
