Continuing Professional Development
The Association of Building Engineers (ABE) promotes the ethos of professional development and lifelong learning. Members of the Association are obligated to carry out 35 hours or 105 hours over a 3 year period of CPD per annum in order to support and maintain their professional standards.
The Association stresses the importance of members maintaining their knowledge currency within a dynamic built environment. Changes are constantly taking place regarding legislation, materials, products, systems and best practice, which all impact on the work of professionals in our sector.
